Zone 1 Rep. Includes the major centres of the city of Castlegar, the city of Cranbrook, the town of Creston, the city of Fernie, the town of Golden, the city of Grand Forks, the city of Kimberley, the city of Nelson, the city of Rossland, and the city of Trail.
Ph: Includes the major centres of the city of Armstrong, the town of Ashcroft, the city of Enderby, the city of Kamloops, the city of Kelowna, the district of Lillooet, the city of Merritt, the city of Peachland, the city of Penticton, the city of Revelstoke, the city of Salmon Arm, the town of Summerland, the city of Vernon, and the district of West Kelowna. Includes the major centres of the city of Abbotsford, the city of Chilliwack, the district of Hope, the City of Langley, the Township of Langley, the city of Maple Ridge, the district of Mission, and the city of Pitt Meadows.
Includes the major centres of the village of Anmore, the village of Belcarra, the city of Burnaby, the city of Coquitlam, the city of New Westminster, the city of Port Coquitlam, the city of Port Moody, the city of Surrey, and the city of White Rock. Participant information is collected under the authority of the BC Games Society. The information provided will be used to determine eligibility to participate in the BC Winter Games.
On confirmation of eligibility the information will be used to arrange liability insurance coverage to address any claims arising from the voluntary participation of registered participants in the BC Winter Games. The name, hometown, sport, and results of registered participants will be provided to media outlets and available on the BC Games Society and the Greater Vernon BC Winter Games Society websites for the purposes of acknowledging selection for participation and placing.
The BC Games Society reserves the right to use or reproduce images for the purposes of providing commemorative materials that would be available for free or purchase. Volunteers and participants may be protected for their actions vis a vis third party claims through the liability insurance for the Games but are not covered for any personal claims for injury or accident. Participants and volunteers agree to release, discharge and undertake not to commence action against the Greater Vernon BC Winter Games Society, the Province of British Columbia, and the BC Games Society from any and all claims and causes of action, or liability of any kind whatsoever for injuries, property damage, or death which in any way results from participating or volunteering in the Greater Vernon BC Winter Games.
