Kerchak 9 years ago 2. I am not certain of this. I beat the game on Apocalyptic the first time through but perhaps someone else does have this answer for you.
I've been level 30 for a long, long time and I've never seen or heard of anyone going back down to level one after hitting Unless it was some sort of glitch.
Never argue with an Idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. You can change it to Apocalyptic before starting and be okay. You get a hammer, Absolution I believe it is. Everything carries over. Collectibles and chests reset. Books arnt that great: a whole page to describe literal scenery thats a frame in a movie.
Your max level on your first playthrough is level If i were you, i would have made sure i got to level 22 before i beat the game, but whatever.
Your max level on your new game plus is level After you beat the game the first time, you will be asked if you want to start a new game plus, you will then be given the chance to setup your game like you did originally Choose your Difficulty, Adjust your Gamma, etc. Make sure you pick Apocolyptic from that screen!!! If you dont, and then try to change the difficulty from the game, you will NOT get the Achievement.
Certain Bosses drop weapons that you couldnt get from them on your first playthrough. You will also be able to get higher level armor from the shops, which i honestly dont think is that important once you get all of the Abyssal Armor, with one exception.
Is there any way to restart the game again with weapons and levels? I tried to kill the final boss and saw a message saying that new game plus and nightmare mode was available. However when I selected continue it just placed me outside of the boss room again. Any help would be appreciated. Showing 1 - 4 of 4 comments. Any suggestions or clarifications would be appreciated. What I want to do is restart the new game plus playthrough with my current level 30 epic items.
That way I can play without worrying about item collection and upgrades. I spent the time the first go around collecting everything and do not want to have to worry about it again.
I basically just want to play for the story before starting Darksiders 3. I tried beating the final boss again but it just dumped me outside the well of souls. Keep me logged in on this device. Forgot your username or password? FC: Side Quest. What is the point of the grim talisman? Switching between the Ravager and Death grip? Carven Stone outside of the Lost Temple? What is max the level? I don't think you can get to lvl 30 in a single playthrough I also had two additional skill points from turning in relics.
So effectively my skills were at When I started over I moved the difficulty up to apocalyptic and then proceeded anew. Just like that. Not hard, and very painless.

Once they get to the third and fourth area the apocalyptic discussion will change to "wtf?! Granted the first two areas are relatively easy. Unless of course your a gear whore who stacks defense, health, heath on strike, crit chance, and crit damage. Then after that it's learn how to play and it's not quite so bad lol.
But it's no problem. Like I said, just wanted people to have a detailed idea of what happens when you start a new game plus :. You wont need to since you have the legendary items and achievement but you can do it again for the gilt and items if you want. Thanks for the heads up. Sad that I lose some stuff, but its ok.
